Have you ever visited Sun Rivers in Kamloops, British Columbia? If you haven’t, it is worth a drive to check it out. Blair Rota and I are residents of Sun Rivers and seriously love the community. The entire community is built around Big Horn Golf and Country Club. Being south facing you get warm sunshine year-round which is a huge benefit here. It makes for excellent golf days. Mason’s Kitchen and Bar is the restaurant located in the club house. Enjoy comedy nights, live music on Fridays and some excellent pizza and drinks. Our real estate office is also in Sun Rivers, EXP Realty. Of course, we love to help people sell and buy in Sun Rivers as well as all the Kamloops region. Sun Rivers has some amazing real estate, I do believe it is one of the nicest areas in Kamloops, but I may be biased!
The are 10 communities in Sun Rivers. When you are shopping for real estate, you really have options. Whether it’s a townhouse, apartment, duplex, or a single-family dwelling – take your pick! The communities are Sagewood, Talasa, Rosewood, 9th Green, Golf Ridge, Belmonte, Irongate, Rio Vista, The Pointe and the newest community is River Gate. All these have HOA fees as they are stratified.
There are about 7 neighborhoods in Sun Rivers. They are made up of all custom style single family homes. With 2022’s current market trends the price of real estate in these neighborhoods are about $800,000 and upwards. The neighborhoods are Mariposa, Trillium, Canyon Ridge, Ironwood, Visao, Sillaro and all the way up Sun Rivers Drive.
Enjoy the outdoors in Sun Rivers. You can hike Mt. Paul or Moonscape in the summertime and enjoy all the local wildlife such as the Big Horn Sheep and quick little Chucker’s! Add the beautiful sagebrush and sunny skies, you can’t go wrong. Walking throughout the communities and neighborhoods are beautiful and pleasant. Our family loves this. And my most favorite perk is during the off season of the golf course you can walk to golf course trails, but you must stay off the greens of course.
