A fourth generation Rota in Kamloops, award-winning full time REALTOR® Blair had the pleasure of growing up in a community that offers endless athletic, recreational and business opportunities. With a shared strong connection to the city, the Rota’s have always made real estate and helping others their family business. Melanie Wintjes

Realtor® & Licensed Assistant

Hi, I’m Melanie Wintjes

Friends describe me as driven, resourceful, confident, passionate, and welcoming. I take pride in every personal relationship and truly value the time I spend getting to know an individual; I believe I can learn something from everyone. I’m often outdoors or staying active. I may be hiking, biking, horse-back riding, golfing, volunteering with Younglife, or at the gym pursuing physical goals. I have created my own fitness website and podcast where I like to encourage and help others stay healthy and reach their goals.

MY BACKGROUND

I grew up in the Cariboo, in both 100 Mile House and Williams Lake and I lived the country-side lifestyle. I spent lots of time with my animals, horse-back riding and playing basketball. I like to stay involved in the community through programs such as 4H, Rodeo, and a youth organization in Kamloops called YoungLife. I moved to Kamloops in 2017 to start my Bachelors of Business Administration. I will finish my degree this year with a major in Finance and a Minor in marketing. I have been a real estate assistant for 3 years and just recently became licensed this year.

WHY I LOVE KAMLOOPS

Since I came from a small town, I feel Kamloops provides endless opportunities and activities. In every direction, you can drive 20 minutes and go on a beautiful hike. As well, Kamloops has a great community for horse enthusiasts. I think Kamloops is just the right size. It’s affordable and the city has minimal traffic.
